Q. How do I book a Meru Genie Cab?

You can book a Meru Genie either by calling us on our call center number, through our Meru Genie website or through Meru Cabs App. To book a Meru Genie cab via phone, you can dial 44 22 44 22 in Hyderabad, Bangalore, Pune, Delhi, Chennai and Ahmedabad and 44 22 44 2 in Chandigarh, Vishakhapatnam, Surat, and Mysore. Q. Can I hail a Meru Genie cab on the road?

Definitely, but only if the cab is unoccupied it can be hailed on the road. Or if the cab is travelling to another assigned pick up, the driver will be delighted to get you on board.

Q. Is there a charge for booking on the phone / web?

Bookings made through Meru Genie website or app wouldn't attract any additional convenience charge! In the cities Bangalore, Pune and Delhi, an additional convenience charge of Rs 30/- is applicable for all bookings made through call center. This charge is NOT applicable in Hyderabad, Chennai, Chandigarh, Vishakhapatnam, Mysore, Ahmedabad and Surat.

Q. What is the fare that I will be charged?

Q. Will I be charged for waiting time?

Waiting time is charged separately at the rate of Rs 1.5/min.

Q. How do I pay after the completion of my trip?

Payment can be made in cash, or alternatively you can go cashless by using Meru Mobile Wallet

Q. Will I get a receipt for the amount paid?

An e-mail receipt will be sent to your e-mail ID.

Q. What do I do if I have left something behind in a Meru Genie?

Please call our call centre on 44 22 44 22 (44 22 44 2 for Chandigarh) and give us details such as cab number, date and time of travel (this information is present in your e-receipt), and we will help you track down your missing item. Also, Meru Genie drivers are trained to report items left behind in the cab. So, if you give us details of your commute, it makes it easier for us to link you with your missing item.

Meru Genie cabs are currently available in the city of Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Pune, Delhi, Chennai, Chandigarh, Mumbai, Vishakhapatnam, Mysore, Ahmedabad and Surat. We expect to start operations in other cites soon.

Yes, you need to register on our website using your 10 digit mobile number. This can help you login and book a Meru Genie instantly. Please do not forget to change your password when you login for the first time.
